9/18/10

I had such a great day today. This is our last duty for our person program required for our PHILO 30 subject. I know it’s not easy doing those usual works as an employee in the canteen. You must be quick and attentive in every thing you do. I also had the chance to interview some of the employee and I can really feel their willingness to do every thing just to support their family needs. The people I worked on were very good; they treat us nicely as if we work on a VIP, which I think not a good idea. Why? I want to experience the reality on how it was like to be treated by a manager if one works leisurely especially to some not-so-lazy students (including me! Hahaha)

I had learned a lot of things from returning the plates to the stock area (or whatever you call it) to throwing your trash in the proper place. I couldn’t be more thankful for the blessings that God bestowed upon me and for having this chance to study in one of the most prominent school here in CDO. I tell you, it’s not easy to be “bas boy/girl” cleaning your mess after you had your meal. So guyz, you better clean up your mess. Let’s show what an atenean got--- MAGIS! But the most astonishing part of our last duty and after we had our last report with the manager, was when they gave us free snack as a return for all our hard works.. *cheers for that :))))

Nevertheless, it was still extraordinary in a way we got to exposed ourselves to some things we don’t usually do. It really made me even more proud to be part of ateneno. People outside may judge us quickly, but if they’ll just look deeper on the inner part of us, then they would simply realized that at least, we’ve done a great impact to our community and boost our ability to help other people in our own little unique ways and that is something that we-- ATENEAN must be so proud off.
